Light Bulbs

Lead is often used in the connection point in light bulbs.

Health Hazards: The lead in the connection points of light bulbs can rub off onto your hands, after which hand-to-mouth contact can bring the lead into your body.

How to Minimize Exposure: Keep light bulbs away from children and always wash your hands after changing a light bulb. If possible, avoid contact with the connection point when handling light bulbs. Never place a light bulb in your mouth.
